A God filled life? What does such a life look like? Well Paul’s first letter to the church in Corinth helps us go deeper in our understanding of Living for Jesus Today through holiness. The life, death and resurrection of Christ are at its centre. It is with the freedom, grace, healing and strength that we find at the cross that we step forward to live life not between the past and the cross, but between the cross and His return. 1 Corinthians helps us to know how to conduct our lives with the cross at the centre. It calls us to spiritual maturity and to respond to whatever calling God has placed on us in accordance with the gifts his Spirit has given us. It involves a new way of living in community, loving one another in a way that the outside world will hopefully recognise us as Christ’s disciples. It is whole life Gospel living in anticipation of His return.
