On the Sunday evenings in January we will be hearing about 4 different ministries which involve taking the good news of Jesus into 'worlds' that may well be unfamiliar to us.

We kick off on the 7th of January with a visit from Edinburgh City Mission. ECM has a wide range of activities going on in our City bringing practical and spiritual support to those whose needs are great.   On the 14th Paul Curd who is the Soldiers and Airmen's Scripture Reader for the Edinburgh Barracks will update us on how the gospel is being shared with our armed forces.  Stuart Weir the National Director of CARE Scotland whose mission is to bring a uniquely christian insight to politics and to law making.  Finally our good friend Bob Ackroyd will tell us about his work in HMP Edinburgh.

These evenings will be informative and should encourage us in our prayer life.
