Sunday 13 April, All-Age service
Kings today have limousines a Rolls Royce perhaps; in ancient times Kings rode horses, big horses, horses that everyone recognised would only ever be ridden by a King. This King comes however riding a small donkey a beast of burden. Common, ordinary, nothing special, except wonderfully Jesus riding this donkey into the capital city fulfils some ancient words of God that proclaimed to the people that this is the King the long promised Messiah.

Sunday Evening 6 April
An evening of song, scripture, sharing, and communion.

Sunday 6 April All-Age Service
This passage on first reading does not seem to be about a King its describing a servant, the one no one notices or cares about, a servant who is going to suffer unimaginable tortures at the Lord’s will. Yet this servant Isaiah says, will be exalted, this servant will by his unique service enable those who have gone astray from God to be brought back, this servant will satisfy the penalty for sin. This servant is The Servant King. Isaiah 52 v 13 to 53 v 12.
