The great news of Jesus is not only the ABC’s of the Christian life but also the A-Z. Hence our mission at Bellevue: Living for Jesus Today. ‘Living’ means it’s an ongoing directive, Monday to Saturday as well as Sunday, applying what we hear on Sunday to live as God’s people and draw others to Him. The little word ‘for’ gives the right focus. Our focus is Jesus. We choose to live under His Lordship and in gratitude and surrender to His undeserved grace. ‘Jesus’ is the Gospel. His forgiveness enables us to live for Him. Endless access to His grace strengthens us to never give up. His call to come and follow is where the journey begins and continues through the process of self-denial.

Rather than be moved to think, ‘Oh yes, I must do that… some other time’, we must remember it’s about today, and every day until the day of Christ’s return.
