In this passage we see Jesus doing some remarkable miracles - feeding thousands of people with a few small loaves and stopping a storm. We learn that Jesus is a compassionate shepherd who is uniquely able to meet our greatest need. He leads us in a new Exodus from sin to salvation. He is also God himself with his people. He calls everyone to trust him as their shepherd and to experience his salvation and protection.
